Highly recommended excellant accomodation, lots to do in area and very good village for all needs. Mrs B, Crediton, Devon 04 April 2011
Would highly recommend Willsbrook Lodge, it's cosy and comfortable, with excellent local pub/restaurant, and will be telling friends & family about it. Mrs S, Bedford, Bedfordshire 09 March 2011
Andrea and Martin have built, designed and furnished this lodge to a very high standard and it made a superb getaway for a week. They were perfect hosts making you feel very welcome...the bottle of wine on the first night after a long drive from London was a very nice touch! It's situated in a great location for getting out and exploring the wonderful Welsh countryside and there are a surprisingly large number of really good restuarants nearby (The Crown at Whitebrook was our favourite). In the evenings the log fire hit the mark every night.
Would highly recommend this place to any couple. Mr K, Wimbledon, London 25 January 2011
We nejoyed a wonderful long weekend break at beautiful Willsbrook Lodge. We rarived on a chilly night to a roaring log fire and a bottle of wine. The cottage is so tastefully decorated to an extremely high standard, all of your needs are catered for and it had one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The cottage is in the grounds of the owners home but very private, and we were made to feel very welcome. The village is lovely, a walk to the castle is a must, and Cardiff is easily accessible by train. We look forward to returning, perhaps in the summer next time so that we can try the pool. A perfect long weekend break, would be ideal at any time of year. The attention to detail at Willsbrook Lodge is excellent, the decor and furnishings are stylish and tasteful. We were made to feel very welcome by Andrea and Martin, who are the most thoughtful of hosts.
Would have loved to have stayed longer to explore the area further and sleep in the wonderfully comfortable bed for a few more nights!
Raglan Castle is an easy walk away and well worth a visit, especially at sunset.
Would definately return, may be in the summer next time so we could try out the pool. Mrs D, Mold, Clwyd 01 December 2010
